Daka Biodiesel a.m.b.a. is a co-operative society established in 2006 with Daka a.m.b.a. as the primary owner. The German company Saria Bio-Industries GmbH owns a minority share through its subsidiaries ecoMotion GmbH and KFU GmbH.

The company’s aim is to produce and market biodiesel and bio fuel oil using refined animal fat extracted from by-products from slaughterhouses and primary agriculture. Used cooking oil and fish oils that are unsuitable for use in food may also be employed as raw materials.
